I doubt I could fit any more on this spread for Sassy Scrappers even if I tried. It is jam packed with shapes, interactive tags/flips and of course the odd touch of gold ( I mean, is it really even a spread of mine if it doesn't have a hint of gold)?
My main aim for this page was to use as many leftover scraps as I could and also use those embellishments that came with the September Kit that I just hadn't found a place for yet... until now.
After the last few layouts, its fair to say I had a nice little pile of scrappy bits of paper just waiting to be used and I knew this was going to be the spread to add them to. This is where all the different shapes came into play, and thankfully (other than the large stars) I had punches in varying sizes to help me get the job done. From circles, to hearts, stars and tags, all these different shapes helped to not only use up those scraps but also create a super fun and cute layout.
Apart from the fun shapes, this page is also rather interactive with pull out tags and photo flips. For the photo flips I usually add sticky tape to one side and then cover it with whatever is going under the flap - photos, quotes or journalling. This is a great subtle way to add more bits to an already jam packed layout.
And stamping... I can't forget the stamping. I used Elles Studio - You Got This Stamp on the circles, tags and also on a filler card. Like I said in a previous post, I'm trying to up my game at stamping... Still have a ways to go but slowly trying different things other than just adding it in as journalling on labels.
This layout definetly feels like spring, with the blues, pinks and green. Even the crisp white pretty much sums up how the mornings currently feel.
